Melanoma Day December 26st

On December 26, Melanoma Day was held, a preventive action for early diagnosis of skin cancer.

The examination included a professional examination and consultation by leading specialists, which allows for the detection of dangerous changes at the earliest stages.

Special attention was paid to the introduction of advanced technologies in diagnostics: during the examination, the innovative Melanoscope AI system, created by the specialists of the ISP RAS, was used. This intelligent development based on neural networks greatly facilitates the doctor’s work - it not only speeds up the diagnostic process, but also increases its accuracy, allowing for confident recognition and classification of skin neoplasms.

During the event, 50 people underwent a free examination. As a result of the consultations, two patients were diagnosed with melanomas. To ensure accurate diagnosis, the lesions were immediately removed and sent for histological examination. We are currently awaiting the results, which will serve as the final diagnosis.
