ISP RAS presented the Melanoscope AI system during a business mission to South Africa.

Staff members from ISP RAS participated in a business mission organized by the Russian Export Center in Johannesburg, South Africa. During the event, they showcased the Institute’s digital health solution—Melanoscope AI, a system for the early detection of skin neoplasms based on neural network models.

The technology attracted significant interest from business representatives, the medical community, and local government officials, as the early diagnosis of skin cancer is a priority for South Africa’s healthcare system.

Melanoscope AI is particularly relevant for clinical decision support systems and early melanoma detection programs, as it enhances diagnostic accuracy and speed. Participation in the business mission provided an opportunity to showcase the capabilities of Russian healthcare IT solutions and discuss prospects for international cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and medical technology.
