Third Scientific Council of the Center for AI in Medicine

On July 29, the Almazov National Medical Research Centre hosted the third meeting of the Scientific Council of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, bringing together representatives from the scientific, medical, and industrial sectors.

During the final session, Andrey Bursov, Advisor on Digital Medicine at ISP RAS, presented the Institute’s developments in the field of medical AI. These included an intelligent analysis system for electrocardiograms (1-, 6-, and 12-channel) and Melanoscope AI, a solution for the early detection of skin neoplasms based on neural network models.

Both tools are based on proprietary technologies developed by ISP RAS and are designed to support clinical decision-making: the first aids in diagnosing cardiovascular pathologies, while the second improves the accuracy of melanoma screening. These solutions are already undergoing clinical validation and are being implemented in collaboration with the country’s leading medical institutions.
