Melanoscope AI. The system for early detecting melanoma and other malignant skin neoplasms based on analysis of dermatoscopic images of melanocytic skin neoplasms

On May 28–30, 2026, the international conference “Ivannikov Readings” was held - a significant event in scientific life, organized in memory of Academician V. P. Ivannikov.
During the event, researchers share the results of work in the field of information technology, system programming and related disciplines, including digital solutions for medicine.
On April 24, 2026, Melanoma Day was held - a preventive event for the early diagnosis of skin cancer.
The event was attended by employees of the Scientific and Technological Center for Biomedical Photonics and the Institute of System Programming (ISP) of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In total, 43 people underwent a comprehensive examination during the campaign.
ISP RAS staff members Elena Kozachok, Evgeny Karpulevich, Andrey Bursov, Arseny Litvinov, and Egor Ushakov are taking part in GITEX Africa 2026, the largest technology exhibition in Africa, where they are presenting the institute’s developments in digital medicine.
On December 26, Melanoma Day was held, a preventive action for early diagnosis of skin cancer.
The examination included a professional examination and consultation by leading specialists, which allows for the detection of dangerous changes at the earliest stages.
On December 9–10, 2025, the Open Conference of the Institute of System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held at the Lomonosov Innovation Cluster in Moscow. Our team members, Alexander Kozachok and Elena Kozachok, presented a report on the development of an intelligent system for supporting medical decisions in the diagnosis of skin neoplasms based on mobile dermatoscopy. This presentation highlighted our practical and scientific contributions to the creation of advanced technologies for early and accurate diagnostics in dermatology.
